An excellent communicator, you have a post-secondary education,solid supervision, budgeting, and labour relations skills, and are aware of all applicable legislation. You fully understand and practice the management style of "Ownership, Accountability, and Responsibility"and are able to effectively supervise the activities of department managers, while demonstrating good fiscal and leadership responsibility. Computer proficiency is required. Must be Bilingual French Qualifications: •A post secondary education is a necessity. •Must have skills in supervision, budgeting, labour relations and aware of all applicable legislation. •Must possess good written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively supervise the activities of department managers and demonstrate good fiscal and leadership responsibility. •Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office applications is required. •Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset. Key Responsibilities: •Operates the facility to ensure that service and care are provided in conformance with all legislative, regulatory and Central Park Lodges requirements. Fully understands and practices the management style of 'Ownership, Accountability And Responsibility' for directing all the facility's operations. •Selects, orients and monitors the performance of departmental and program managers. Conducts annual performance appraisals. •Participates in the development of the facility annual operating and capital budgets and ensures conformance to approved budgets on an ongoing basis. •Establishes facility goals and objectives in conjunction with the Senior Executive Director and ensures that these are met within available budgetary and fiscal resources, and appropriate time frames. •Regularly monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of all components of care, initiating corrective action as required. •Co-ordinates the activities of all departments to ensure a balanced emotional and physical environment which is conducive to the provision and practice of therapeutically effective holistic care. •Administers facility collective agreements on a day-to-day basis and represents the company in the grievance process. •Represents and liases the facility to various relevant community, professional, civic and service organizations. •Ensures that all appropriate contacts, including area physicians, are established and maintained within the community in order to maximize the availability of potential tenants/residents and to obtain feedback with regard to the services required. •Initiates, reviews, and prepares documents, policies and procedures to conform with the standards of the CPL policies and procedures.
