Rocky Mountain High:

• Located at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Denver is one of America's most beautiful (and fun) cities. Blessed with 300 days of sunshine a year (more than San Diego and Miami Beach), this is a lively, yet culturally rich and sophisticated city.
• Denver has a very active downtown area. You will find a mile-long pedestrian promenade lined with outdoor cafes and flower baskets. Nearly every street possesses mountain views and is lined with restaurants, bars, brewpubs, museums and a variety of galleries and endless shopping venues.
• Sports aficionados will find it ALL here. Denver is one of only a few cities to offer all 4 major professional sports teams: The NFL Denver Broncos; NHL Colorado Avalanche; MLB Colorado Rockies and NBA Denver Nuggets. You can also enjoy horse racing, dog racing, Grand Prix racing and one of the world's largest rodeos. Also important to note: some of the best powder skiing in North America!
• The city has one of the highest educated populations in America and a great love of the Arts. The Denver Art Museum is in the process of doubling its size and the Denver Performing Arts Complex is the second largest in the nation with seating for 10,000 people for theatre, symphony, opera and ballet. Denver also has the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a 9,000 seat arena carved out of red rock boulders.
