This 337-bed, full-service hospital is known throughout the region as a leader in the fields of trauma, cardiovascular medicine, radiologic technology, neurosurgery and orthopedics. It has undergone recent expansion of its Emergency Department and Trauma Center while opening a Total Joint Replacement Center in 2006.

This 405-bed, full-service hospital provides medical/surgical, critical care, obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, cardiovascular and oncology services. All patient rooms are private. The Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center. Also located on this campus are the Piper Surgery Center, Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center, the Women’s Center and several medical office plazas.

Description: This position is responsible for leading the overall strategy development and implementation related to the formal medical staff structure, relationships, and communication.
This position is responsible for leading the overall strategy development and implementation related to the formal medical staff structure, relationships, and communication.

In addition, the position leads development and implementation of the strategy for overall physician communication. Also, the position provides the point of coordination for relationships between Scottsdale Healthcare and the primary care physicians in the organization's service area.

Basic Education: Related Bachelor's Degree

Basic Experience: 5 years related experience including 2 years strategic planning

Basic Field-of-Expertise: Knowledge of medical staff relationships and physician practice issues. Knowledge of medico-legal issues and laws, regulatory agency requirements and standards.
