the Nursing Department.
Department: Nursing Administration CM Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days/ Monday - Friday Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Job Details: -Bachelor Degree -CPR Certification -Valid R.N. License -5-10 yrs. -Responsible and accountable on a 24-hour basis for the overall management and quality of care for the Nursing Department of Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Responsible for the quality of nursing care administered to Residents. Develops and evaluates standards of resident care; ensures compliance with state, local and federal regulations. Responsible for the training and evaluation of assigned staff. Directs, controls and supervises operations with the Staff Education Manager, Geriatric Nurse Educator and the MDS Nurse. Coordinates operations between the Malta Rehabilitation Center and the Nursing Units. Coordinates operations with Pharmacy. Coordinates policy and procedures with the Medical Director and the Medical Staff. Current licensure in the District of Columbia as a RN. Master's degree in Nursing, Administration or other related field desired. Three years experience in supervisory capacity with demonstrated management and leadership ability.
