As a research RN, you will extend direct nursing care to high-acuity patients, direct members of the research team and other allied health employees, and interact with patients and families. You will also coordinate multiple studies; ensure all protocol requirements are met for each patient; and screen, recruit, and prepare eligible patients. Additional responsibilities include preparing case reports, protocol documentation, and drug accountability; collecting, assessing, and interpreting required data; and performing high-risk procedures such as infusion of investigational drugs and/or assisting study team with investigational devices. To qualify, you must possess a current AZ RN licensure and 2+ year's experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting. BLS and ACLS certification is also required within 30 days of hire. Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. A BSN is preferred. Experience coordinating clinical research studies is desirable.
