Requirements
include a Bachelor's degree in medical technology,
biological or chemical science and clinical laboratory
experience with a passing score in the U.S. Public
Health Service proficiency examination for Clinical
Laboratory Technologists. Candidates must hold certification
by a nationally recognized laboratory accrediting agency
as a Medical Technologist such as ASCP, AMT or NCA,
plus 2 years experience in a high complex laboratory.
Individuals must demonstrate the ability to ensure
the confidentiality and rights of all patients and
documents.
