Description: Retirement Residences Group is currently hiring for the following position:
Enviornmental Services Manager
Qualifications:
-The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a Retirement or Long Term Care setting.
-Qualified applicants must have technical knowledge of building systems, and supervisory experience in human resource management and team development in environmental services.
-Skills in all aspects of housekeeping, laundry and maintenance including knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and emergency systems are essential.
-Demonstrated strengths in preventive maintenance, budgeting and costing, and quality control, as well as, computer proficiency are required.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, team and leadership abilities.
-Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
-Familiarity with ORCA (Ontario Retirement Communities Association) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
-We require a hands-on leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of maintenance, housekeeping and laundry services.
-The individual will demonstrate a genuine empathy for seniors, as well as, a strong desire and ability to provide our residents with a healthy, spirited lifestyle in retirement.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills are mandatory, as well as a friendly attitude that supports our Company philosophies and goals.
