Swedish Medical Center is currently seeking a Manager for Addiction Recovery Services. Swedish Medical Center, the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in the Greater Seattle area, has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of the Addiction Recovery Program in Ballard, WA. Utilize your knowledge and skill to lead outstanding staff and oversee professional nursing care services to patients undergoing medical detoxification and treatment for substance abuse disorders. This program has a strong focus on the care of patients with chronic pain, as well as pregnant women with addiction. You will have hands-on opportunities to oversee all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision and values. Successful candidates will be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program. Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington, and a current BLS certification. A Master's degree in nursing or a related field is desired. The incumbent will possess a knowledge base of substance abuse disorders and related pathophysiology and psychopathology. The following skills are also required: • Recent first-line management experience • At least three years of recent experience in a related clinical area of nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities • Demonstrated advanced clinical and organizational skills related to the care of patients • Knowledge of human growth and development to modify services to the age and development stage of the patient Competitive Salary, 401K and excellent Benefits program available.
