Position/Summary:
Vernon is a major vacation destination for those flocking to the Okanagan Valley and is one of those rare cities where unsurpassed
beauty and an abundance of recreational and cultural activities combine to create an exceptional quality of life enjoyed by residents
and visitors alike. The rocky, forested headlands and sheltered, sandy bays await you on the east side of Okanagan Lake, just a
few miles south of Vernon. This is an area of undulating bench land dominated by stands of Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir, set
between the rolling hills of the Thompson Plateau to the west and the peaks of the Monashee Mountains to the east.

This position coordinates the Pharmacy Services of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, including services to Armstrong, Enderby, and
Spallumcheen, in accordance with the departmental and facility policies, standards, procedures and objectives. This position is
responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of the Professional Practice Standards and Procedures of the Pharmacy
service and advancing pharmaceutical care within the facility.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized College of Pharmacy.
- Completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency program, or equivalent.
- Successful completion of Management or Health Care Administration certificate.
- Minimum of five years hospital pharmacy experience including two years' related management experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- Current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is required.
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
