The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology &
Women's Health at the University of Missouri invites
applications for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist.
Faculty Position: The appointee will join ten generalists and be a contributing member of the department in delivering excellent clinical, research, teaching and community services and integrating the department's activities with those of the School of Medicine and Health and Life Sciences at the University of Missouri. The division is housed in a new attractive, 17,000 square foot state-of-the-art clinic. Qualifications: Qualifications include doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathic medicine, board certification or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and dedication to teaching. The successful candidate should have academic qualifications for the rank of instructor, assistant professor, associate professor or professor (tenure track or clinical track depending on qualifications). Rank and salary will be commensurate with training, academic level and experience. Campus: MU is one of 34 public US universities in the AAU and is designated as "Doctoral/Research Extensive" by the Carnegie Foundation. The land grant campus has School of Medicine and School of Veterinary Medicine. MU ranks as the fastest growing public university in federal funding. Columbia is a beautiful college town offering excellent schools, very affordable housing and many recreational amenities. It is located just 2 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City, and about 1 hour from Lake of the Ozarks, a popular resort area.
