Description: Must possess skills to be a part of the health care team, assume primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages.

Will utilize delegation and critical thinking skills to provide quality service through a team oriented, collaborative approach to patient care. Will interact with patients, families, visitors, and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care. Will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and assess data reflective of the patient's status. Graduate of School of Professional Nursing. PCU experience desired, ICU experience welcomed. Must have current Registered Nurse license in the State of Virginia or eligible to sit for the Virginia licensure exam. Must successfully complete orientation and competency requirements, obtain/maintain CPR certification, and possible ACLS, PALS, NRP, certifications based on specific work unit.
