Community Health Network's behavioral care services is central Indiana's largest provider of mental health services, with an extensive continuum of treatment options. We see about 5,000 inpatients and nearly 20,000 outpatients each year, ranging from age 4 to older adults. Patients are seen in individual therapy, family or group therapy. Utilizing psychiatric assessment and evaluation, personal treatment plans are developed by physicians, psychologists, advance practice nurses, therapists and counselors.

The Psychiatric Pavilion, a full-service, 125-bed inpatient behavioral care hospital, is located on the Community Hospital North campus. Crisis services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for immediate evaluations over the phone or in person.

Gallahue Mental Health Services provides outpatient behavioral care services in Marion, Hancock, Madison and Shelby counties. The Community Support Service program provides an array of therapeutic programs for the severely mentally ill (SMI), including employment training and assistance with job placement.

Another large component of Community's behavioral care services is the school-based program. Gallahue's professional staff delivers mental health services to students in the school environment in more than 50 sites for Indianapolis Public Schools and the metropolitan school districts of Lawrence, Warren, Washington and Wayne townships.

At Community Health Network Behavioral Care Services, we're dedicated to assisting our clients in getting back to their lives.
