Hot Springs Pulmonary Clinic is actively recruiting a Pulmonary / Critical Care physician to join their established single specialty practice. This expansion is due to the growing needs of a service population of over 320,000 residents. Join three Board Certified Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians in this partnership track position which includes reading sleep studies for a Certified Sleep Lab. The physicians admit to St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center and National Park Medical Center. St. Joseph's is a 317-bed facility located on a 72-acre medical campus. It is a not-for-profit, faith-based health system that has served the healthcare needs of Hot Springs and its surrounding communities since 1888. Recently, the Mercy Heart & Vascular Center cardiac rehab program was voted "Best Cardiac Rehab" in the State by the American Association of Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation. National Park Medical Center is a full service acute care hospital with 166 beds, and is a regional referral center for a 5 county area. In addition, St. Joseph's is also part of the Mercy SafeWatch Electronic ICU Program. Mercy Safewatch provides monitoring of more than 390 ICU beds across the Sisters of Mercy Health System. The Command Center, the largest in the U.S. is based at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Plus in 2010, St. Joseph will begin using EPIC software system which will allow access to patient information with the same chart for inpatient and outpatient services. Epic's electronic medical records provide for Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and improves both patients safety and patient outcomes.
