Job Details: Research Analyst

Description: We are currently seeking a Research Analyst to ensure that the rule library is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.

Position Summary:
Medical Policy Research department is at the very core of IHT's products and services and provides iron-clad research that supports IHT's ability to provide value to its customers.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures that the rules in the ICMS rule library are accurately classified and continues to be enhanced.
• Responsible for providing internal consulting on rule and system-related issued with internal staff.

Required Skills:
• Professional coder certification (CPC, CPC-H, CPC-P or CCS-P) or LPN or RN with medical coding knowledge.
• Prior experience in developing medical payment policy edits.
• Minimum 5 years experience in developing medical payment policy, claims adjudication and utilization review working for a managed care or health care insurance company.
