Description: The Geraldton District Hospital has an immediate opening for a Temporary Full-time Registered Practical Nurse. This position is under the CUPE collective agreement.


Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Registered Practical Nurse program
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recent related experience is preferred
- Ability to work as a team member with minimum supervision and to work rotation shifts
- Excellent public relations skills
- Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
- Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset
- Good attendance record is mandatory

The successful candidates will work in a team environment on the Long Term Care and Acute Care Nursing units. This position is directly responsible to the Nursing Services Manager.
