and Meadow Lake.
Reporting to the Director of Acute
Care Services - Battlefords Union Hospital, the successful
candidate is responsible for the overall direction
of pharmacy services within the region, and specifically
accountable for the provision of pharmacy services
at the Battlefords Union Hospital and Saskatchewan
Hospital.
The successful applicant must have
a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and be eligible
for registration with the Saskatchewan College of
Pharmacists. Previous hospital pharmacy experience
is essential. Preference will be given to those with
management experience within a unionized environment.
Excellent verbal communication skills as well as
strong interpersonal skills are a must. The individual
must be able to establish and maintain good working
relations with regional employees and physicians.
The ability to independently establish priorities
and meet deadlines is essential. Knowledge of various
software applications including excel, word and pharmacy
software applications is a definite benefit.
Salary and benefits in accordance with Out-of-Scope
Management Compensation Plan. The Prairie North Regional
