Position Information The VPMA will report to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for serving as an effective liaison between administration and the physicians. Qualified candidates will be a board certified or eligible physicians who have administrative leadership experience within a like-sized facility. Individuals must have high integrity and be able to successfully build consensus and focus on quality and leadership issues. Strong financial, operational, and medical staff relation skills are a must. Hospital Information This hospital is a 206-bed, Joint Commission-accredited facility is Wyoming's largest hospital and state-wide referral center. As a Regional Trauma Center, the hospital operates Wyoming's only air and ground ambulance program. Providing an array of comprehensive services, this facility boasts a growing surgical services center with specialties in neurosurgery and cardiac surgery, as well as an impressive cancer center. This progressive health system provides outreach and specialty services throughout the state of Wyoming. Community Information The community of 50,000 settles on the banks of the Platte River and is surrounded by some our nation's treasures.
