Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist to join an existing group of two physicians and one physician assistant. If you are a Medical Oncologist who is committed to providing direct patient care in a state-of-the-art facility, and in a family-oriented community, this may be the opportunity for you. Our nursing staff takes 1st call so you have more time to enjoy your family!

Hays Medical Center is a 190-bed hospital and the only hospital in Hays, Kansas. HMC is a rural referral center for a population base of at least 150,000. We have a progressive open heart surgery program and spine program. Our medical staff consists of 80 active staff physicians and a full range of specialist services including cardiology, orthopaedics, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, general surgery, internal medicine, neurology, pulmonary/critical care, infectious disease, urology, and oncology. Our medical facility is home to the Michael E. DeBakey Heart Institute of Western Kansas. This new wing enabled Hays Medical Center to have all private rooms in 2005. As a regional referral center, and supporting hospital to the largest rural hospital network in the nation, HMC has been named 'Outstanding Rural Health Program' by the National Rural Health Association and a 2005 Top 100 Quality Hospital.

Hays, Kansas is a thriving community of 25,000 that is located halfway between Kansas City and Denver. Hays is small enough to be comfortable yet large enough to provide abundant cultural, commercial and entertainment opportunities.
