Description: Community Mental Health Center Psychiatrist:
Inpatient and Outpatient Services
Family Counseling Center is a progressive, comprehensive community mental health center providing mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment services in Southern Missouri with over 250 employees.

The agency is actively involved in progressive initiatives such as telepsychiatry, evidenced-based treatment practices, and collaborative projects with primary healthcare centers.

The agency has initiated the implementation of electronic medical records and is involved in clinical outcome measures to advance the use of evidence-based treatment with a focus on clients being active in their own recovery.

The Staff Psychiatrist will work with a multi-disciplinary team in an outpatient and inpatient setting with excellent call coverage in a collegial and supportive environment. Inpatient rotations include one adult psychiatric unit, one adolescent unit and one geriatric unit all at the same hospital, Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center.

The position is available in Kennett, MO a town of over 10,000 people, which offers a low cost of living and access to nearby Memphis, TN. Benefits include an excellent salary of $175,000 with additional incentives, 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance, and malpractice insurance coverage.
