FamilyCare is currently seeking a full-time
Physician Assistant for our primary care health center
in Black Mountain, NC.
Our town is located 14 miles
east of Asheville on I-40, in the gorgeous French Broad
River valley, amidst the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky
mountains. Asheville, of course, is justly famous.
Its size makes it the cosmopolitan hub of Western North
Carolina, while Black Mountain adds small town flair
and satisfactions. The quality of life in our area
is consistently rated as among the best in the country.

We are seeking a provider with excellent patient- relation
skills -- and either three years of experience, or
an excellent ambition to learn EMR and coding. This
is a thriving primary care practice, serving over 20,000
patients at two locations. FamilyCare offers a great
income opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic
candidate, including an excellent salary, generous

with 401K and employer matching.
There is quality
physician supervision, with latitude for autonomy based
on experience and clinical skills. No hospital work,
with on- call telephone coverage only. Work hours are
Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm, with one late day until 7pm, and
one Saturday (9am - 2pm) in four.
Current NC
licensure is required.
