Overview:
The position is located at Banner Baywood Medical Center on Power and Broadway located in East Valley Mesa.

Full-time, nights, Monitor Technician. 36 hours/week.

Provides continuous observation of cardiac monitors.



Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for continuous observation of patients' heart monitors, recognizing dysrhythmias, watching for potential life threatening situations, alerting RN/LPNs of pertinent changes and abnormalities, to assure nursing intervention before possible lethal complications develop, keeping hourly log of patients' rate and rhythms for periodical summary documentation.


Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of specialized course (preferred), passing score of 80% on ECG test and knowledge of medical terminology.
