Qualifications:
Requires R.N. with current Colorado license and a specialty nursing certification required. Five years of operating room experience in both scrub and circulating role in all surgical disciplines. Ability and skill to supervise staff, comply with standards, policies and procedures, and direct patient care if necessary. Develops and maintains communication with staff, physicians and other department managers and administration. Promotes and role models positive relationships with all customers. Evaluates and implements change in processes that enhance excellence in patient care. Previous operating room management/supervisory expereince preferred. Bachelors degree in nursing preferred, must obtain within 3 years of hire.
