The University of British Columbia (UBC) Department of Pediatrics is based at BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) a 250 bed tertiary care children's hospital, serving a population of almost 5 million. This is the only children's hospital in the province and cares for the most acutely ill or injured children and youth, throughout BC. Pediatric Epileptologist BC Children's Hospital & the University of British Columbia The Division of Pediatric Neurology, UBC Department of Pediatrics, located at BCCH seeks a pediatric neurologist with fellowship training and expertise in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology to join their well established program. The position will have an emphasis on clinical care of epilepsy patients, reading EEG studies and teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Candidates must have completed a fellowship in epilepsy and electroencephalography; expertise in the pre-surgical evaluation of patients and the ketogenic diet are desirable. Candidates with research interests in neuroimaging, basic science aspects of epilepsy or clinical trials are preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the clinical and educational programs of the Division of Neurology. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications from senior candidates with exceptional qualifications requiring a more senior rank will be reviewed.
