TITLE: Pharmacist
(2 Full-time positions)

DESCRIPTION:

Under the Direction of the Department Head, the pharmacist ensures that pharmaceutical services and medications are used in an effective, safe, and fiscally responsible manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy.
• Residency in Hospital Pharmacy Practice or a minimum of two years experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
• Experience in direct patient care, drug information, pharmacokinetic monitoring, investigational drug use, and computerized drug order entry.
• Pharmacists must obtain a license to practice Pharmacy in Ontario 18 months after the start of employment at K.G.H.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, courteously, and tactfully with all types of people.
• Proven ability to attend work regularly.
• Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check required.
