Job Details: RN - Critical Care - ICU

Company: Kingston General Hospital – Live and work in one of Canada's most historic communities, for a hospital affiliated with one of Canada's most reputable universities.

Description: Under the direction of the Manager or delegate, the R.N. assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of assigned patients utilizing Total Patient Care in the Intensive Care Unit.

Basic Qualifications:
-Eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
-Knowledge and competence in CPR.
-One year critical care nursing experience within the last three years and successful completion of a critical care course preferred.
-Two years medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
-Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to work on a multidisciplinary team an asset.
-Proven ability to attend work regularly.
-Satisfactory criminal reference check required.

Physical Requirements:
The applicant must be able to meet the physical demands of this position.
