Job Details: RN - Oncology Program - In-Patient Oncology - Connell 10

Description: Under the direction of the Manager or delegate, the R.N. assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of assigned patients utilizing Total Patient Care.

Basic Qualifications:
-Eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
-Knowledge and competence in CPR.
-One year experience in medical/surgical nursing within the last three years preferred.
-Experience or interest in Oncology and Palliative Care nursing an asset.
-Canadian Nurses Association Specialty Certification in Oncology and/or Hospice Palliative Care Nursing preferred.
-Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to work on a multidisciplinary team an asset.
-Proven ability to attend work regularly.
-Satisfactory criminal reference check required.
