EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT:
• 39,000 annual visits staffed with 10 full time ER physicians with 20% going through the fast track staffed with 3 full time nurse practitioners
• Average of 50 hours per day of ER physician coverage and 12 hours per day of nurse practitioner coverage (ER Physicians see an average of 1.7 patients per hour)
• All physicians given equal consideration in scheduling, time off, and input into the practice

HOSPITAL:
• 269 bed facility, staffed with 94% RNs, and achieved MAGNET Nursing Status in September 2004
• Adult and pediatric Hospitalist services available for admissions
• Specialists available: 7 General Surgeons, 6 Neurologists, 7 Neurosurgeons, 7 Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, 9 Invasive Cardiologists, 5 Neonatologists, and many more
• Largest medical center between Memphis and St. Louis
