Description: Group Seeks Additional Hospitalist In South Carolina
A group in central South Carolina is seeking hospitalist coverage for 2008. This can be either a part-time or full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling.

This is a 4 physician group providing both day and night coverage to the hospital. Ideal physicians will be comfortable with initial ventilator management. Central line placement is preferred, but is not required.

Physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with a current ACLS certification. You will either work as a rounding physician or an admitting physician.

Daily there are 3 rounding physicians working from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., 1 admitting physician working from 1 p.m.-10 p.m. and 1 admitting physician from 10 p.m.-7 a.m. Daily the rounders can expect to see 15-22 patients, and the admitters can expect 6-7 admits per shift.

This hospitalist group covers the ICU. Patients are both unassigned from the emergency department and from an affiliated group in the area.
