Hospital of Miami is sponsoring an AAOMS Fellowship
in Endoscopic Maxillofacial Surgery commencing July
1,2008 and ending June 30, 2009.
The preceptor
of the fellowship is Joseph P. McCain, D.M.D. The emphasis
of the fellowship is on Endoscopic Maxillofacial Surgery
involving TMJ Arthroscopy, Sialoendoscopy, and Endoscopic
Assisted Orthognathic and Trauma Surgery.
Also
emphasized in the training program will be Microsurgical
Techniques. The preceptor for Microsurgical Techniques
is Shawn McClure, D.M.D., M.D.
Upon completion
of the fellowship, the candidate~; should be well versed
in all forms of endoscopic maxillofacial surgery and
be prepared to disseminate that information in educational
process and residency programs.
