ALCOHOL, DRUG ADDICTION AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (ADM) BOARD
The County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Boards the behavioral health authority for Summit County seeks a full-time Psychiatrist to serve as its Assistant Chief Clinical Officer.

Working directly with the Board's Chief Clinical Officer, this person will assists in providing overall clinical direction for the progressive, nationally mental health system and advising the Executive Director and Board concerning the clinical aspects of proposed plans.

The Assistant Chief Clinical Officer will assist the Chief Clinical Officer in carrying out the duties of the office which include approval of voluntary admissions to the state hospital, monitoring of patients committed to the Board for either outpatient or inpatient services, and collaboration with assessment agencies and the Probate Court regarding emergency admission and involuntary civil commitment procedures.

The person in this position will also serve as Assistant Director of Community Psychiatry at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) the affiliation with NEOUCOM offers significant opportunities to teach residents and medical students about a recovery oriented approach to treatment of people with serious and persistent mental disorders. All the candidates should be Board Certified with a minimum of two (2) years post-residency experience.

All the candidates should have Board Certification in Psychiatry a minimum of two (2) years post-residency and qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor level at NEOUCOM. The candidate must have a strong commitment to the ADM Board's mission, the community and cultural diversity.
