Medicine Program - Endocrinology Division Salary: NS-30 ($24.91 - $31.98 per hour) Hours of Work: 75 hours bi-weekly Main Accountabilities: The Diabetes Nurse Educator practices as part of an interdisciplinary team in providing specialized services to patients referred to the Diabetes Centre. Screening of referrals, prioritization of caseload, assessment and teaching of clients is required. The position also involves the ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive diabetes education, management and care programs for people with diabetes and their support systems. This is a highly autonomous nursing position.
