Description: Experienced CEO Needed for 60 provider multi-specialty group practice
Our medical group wants to add 15 new physicians over the next five years. HIMG, a premier, multi-specialty medical group practice serving a large geographical area in the Tri-State region of West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky, is seeking an experienced CEO. The CEO is responsible for the overall direction, management, and coordination of the clinical, operational, and strategic activities of the medical group.

The CEO reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for assisting the Board. HIMG is a physician owned, patient driven medical group and was founded in 1970. Today, HIMG is comprised of 50 physicians (primary care, medical & surgical sub-specialties), 12 midlevel providers, and its own diagnostic laboratory, imaging center, non-invasive cardiology testing, infusion center, hearing center, NowCare, & endoscopy surgery center.

HIMG's facility is a brand-new, 150,000 SF medical mall, which houses other health, care tenants. Huntington, WV is the home Marshall University and our region offers mountain activities (white water rafting, skiing, golf, etc.) and many cultural amenities (museum, symphony, theater, etc.)


Required Skills and Abilities:
- Highly developed executive leadership and management skills, strong business skills a must
- Ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies
- Visionary focused on customer service and health care industry trends
- Facilitator who can create consensus among various constituents
- Sound understanding of financial, clinical, administrative and revenue cycle operations
- Experience with physician recruitment and retention
- Provide leadership and direction to the HIMG Management Team
- Active participation in community and civic events


Qualifications
Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience in a multi-specialty group is required. The CEO position includes a very good compensation and fringe benefit package.
