Benefits & Compensation:
Benefits are excellent with extremely low co-pays for full health insurance. A single person pays just $50 bi-weekly; employee +1 pays $100 bi-weekly; and a family $150 bi-weekly. Full-Time employee benefits include:
• PTO (paid time off) of 4.5 weeks per year for the 1st three years, 5.5 weeks for the next three years and 7.5 weeks after 6 years of continuous employment.

General Clinical Practice Description:
Full spectrum, hospital based regional health care system with 50 beds, Level IV Trauma Center; routine and surgical OB; family practice, pediatric and specialty clinics, as well as dental, optometry, physical therapy providers. Regional medical care is supported by full spectrum lab services, 24-hour tele-radiology, telemedicine, specialty consultations and medevac services.

Responsibilities:
The Staff Physician shall be committed to contributing to the Mission of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, "..to achieve the greatest possible improvement in the health status of the people of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region of Alaska". The Staff Physician is an employee working under the supervision of the Medical Director who is, in turn, supervised by the Clinical Services Administrator.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Must have completed an accredited medical school.

Minimum Experience: Must have completed a residency training program and be board eligible or board certified (unless specific exeption is made) by the appropriate board of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.

License, Certification, Registration: Must have Alaska State License and DEA License.

Equipment/Tools/Work-Aids: Must have computer skills needed to access computerized medical records.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Needs the skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the area of their specialty.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Ability to supervise medical students, residents, phyusician extenders and community Health Aide clinical practice.
