STG
International, Inc. is the contractor for the Division
of Immigration Health Services (DIHS), STG provides
supplemental Health Care staffing needs for 19 facilities
across the United States. All facilities are under
the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration
Custom Enforcement (ICE). All locations are ICE detention
facilities that provide necessary healthcare intake
screenings and treatment to the undocumented alien
population.
This is an opportunity to become
part of a unique team of professionals in a challenging
industry. The incumbent will provide a full range of
primary patient care services to include intake screenings,
assessing mental health needs, developing a nursing
diagnosis and plan of nursing care and finally implementing
the plan.
The incumbent will work in a clinical
setting which is comprised of both ambulatory care
and inpatient units. Operating times for these facilities
are on a 24 hour a day 7 days a week schedule.
We
are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse under
the Division of Immigration Health Services (DIHS).
The RN provides healthcare to undocumented migrants
in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE) residing in Service Processing Centers (SPC)
and Contract Detention Facilities (CDF).
This
position also requires you to perform medical histories
on detainees entering the Service Processing Center
(SPC), evaluate health care needs of detainees and
develop nursing care plans to meet those needs.
SKILL
REQUIREMENTS: Exceptional verbal and written communications
skills, strong, detail-oriented and able to work independently
and multi-task. Intermediate computer skills are desired.
All nursing positions require that you are
an American citizen, have a valid state licensure and
process though a successful background investigation
for hire. Being bi-lingual is preferred but not a pre-requisite
for hire.
