Job Details: Clinical Systems Analyst

Description: Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital is the major health care provider for the region and is located three hours north of the Twin Cities and 90 minutes northwest of Duluth in a new state-of-the-art facility.
Primary responsibility in leading or participating in Information Services projects to support new and installed clinical systems. Responsibilities include: planning, selection, design, testing, documentation, training, implementation and ongoing support. Additional responsibilities include working with management and staff to define problems and devise solutions, perform workflow analysis and participate in process redesign, also engaging in quality control and facilitating change management.

Education Requirements: Must possess a degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent experience.

Qualifications: Must possess a minimum of three years proven clinical information systems experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare-related field or organization. Must possess and display a high level of planning and project management skills. Must have the ability to analyze systems problems and needs in the medical facility arena, determine the applicable solution, and direct or coordinate the implementation. Must understand system integration techniques and be able to analyze and design the appropriate system interfaces.
