Description: Minimum Skills/Requirements
BSN Required. New Mexico License required. One to three years experience in nursing.
Primary Job Functions

• Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions.

• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains required records, and reports for CQI purposes.

• Organizes, directs, and coordinates functions and activities in assigned areas.

• Directs maintenance of patient care, equipment, supplies and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff.

• Facilitates positive problem resolution in best interest of the customer and the team; creating a win-win situation.

• Seeks opportunities to develop clinical team by nurturing and advising and guiding peers and others. Monitors, evaluates, supervises and disciplines clinical team in accordance with PHS/PMG personnel policies.

• Collaborates with Practice Administrator to ensure all facets of center work efficiently with maintain quality standards and meeting financial objectives.

• Adjusts staffing to meet needs and to provide adequate coverage of clinical area.

• Inspects areas daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and takes corrective action when violations occur.

• Assists provider with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, as needed.

• Assists providers and patients with families as needed in times of stress or crisis.

• Ensures adequate stock of supplies and proper function of equipment.

• Performs other functions as required.
