Responsible and accountable on a 24 hour basis for the management and quality of care of the designated Nursing unit (s) through clinical and managerial activities. Responsible for the development of clinical staff. Develops and evaluates the standards of care. Requires a Masters in Nursing Management, or other related field. Five (5) years with demonstrated progressive leadership. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia or has submitted application for licensure by endorsement and has letter of supervised practice. CPR certification.
