Seeking a Clinical
Educator to work in our Obstetrics & Pediatrics
unit. Primarily day shift.
To mentor, educate
and define clinical care procedures for our nurses
focused on neonates, pediatrics and obstetrics. The
educator will be involved with performance improvement
initiatives and policy and procedure review and development.
This individual will serve as expert and resource
to staff and will work collaboratively with the director,
physicians, and risk management in implementing strategic
hospital and department initiatives. Reporting to the
Director of Perinatal an Pediatric Services, candidates
must have a BSN (MSN preferred), specialty certification
and instructor certification in PALS and/or AWHONN
Fetal Monitoring desired.
Registered nurse;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required and Master's
degree in Nursing preferred. Specialty certification
is strongly desired. Computer literacy required; working
knowledge of Microsoft programs required, Meditech
experience preferred. Five years of Maternal/Child
Health experience required; experience as MCH clinical
nurse educator or clinical specialist preferred
