Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager this position provides pharmacy services to inpatients in accordance with Interior
Health's Mission and Vision. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position assesses and recommends individualized
treatments. You act as a resource for drug information, education and provide expert advice to health care professionals. You also monitor drug prescribing, drug distribution and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal and economic use of drugs. In addition, you maintain workload records and statistics.

Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy with a current license to practice in British Columbia
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and
advanced education courses
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.

Skills & Abilities
- Ability to recommend, implement, monitor and alter therapeutic plans based on patient-specific information.
- Ability to consult and teach within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the ability to make presentations.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other health practitioners, as well as patients, family
members and the public.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload in a complex environment.
