Dietitian
Methodist Healthcare

Responsibilities include:
- Performing nutritional assessment, evaluation and planning; calculating and recording meal patterns
- Maintaining nutritional care plans, reviewing medical records, correlating medical care to nutritional care, charting findings and attending care plan meetings.
- Interpreting and implementing the diet prescription; calculating nutrients and preparing individual meal plans.
- Participating in the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department including meal service, customer satisfaction, quality improvement projects, department education, sanitation and service.
- Developing/gathering nutritional counseling material and providing in/out patient counseling for patient and family members.
- Interacting and conferring with a variety of professionals including physicians, nurses, case management to assess and implement the nutritional plan of care.

Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
- Licensed by the State of Texas registered/registry eligible with the American Dietetic Association.
