Job Details: Seven Physician OB/GYN group hiring two more physicians

Description: Join this group of dedicated physicians, and nurse practitioners providing obstetrics and gynecology. For over 20 years, the medical practice has provided local healthcare for the women located in the cities of Fayette and Jonesboro.
Since 1986, it has been the vision and commitment of the practice to provide patients with competent and compassionate medical care in a family-centered environment. This group is looking for associates who share their philosophy and commitment to providing high quality care for women in all phases of their life in a warm, compassionate and nurturing environment.

Currently seven physicians and two nurse practitioners see patients in two offices located in Jonesboro and Fayetteville. The offices are open from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some appointments are scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to accommodate the patients. The practice is staffed by a dedicated and professional staff. Many of the members have been with the practice since its inception 20 years ago.

The group offers patients a wide array of services including but not limited to the following:

Uro-dynamic Testing, Gynecologic Surgery, Essure - Office Tubal Ligation Endometrial Ablation, Birth Control Options (including: Mirnea IUD, Paragaurd IUD, Essure - Permanent Birth Control Option ,Implanon) Diagnostic / Operative Laparoscopy,Urinary Incontinence Surgery, Certified Bone Densitometry Service, Ultrasound Services Wellness Services(including weight loss and a smoking cessation program), Family-Center maternity care, Certified Nurse-Midwifery care, Infertility services and High Risk Obstetrics. The group does not provide terminations for their patients but has made arrangements for referrals at the request of the patient.

The group has privileges at two area hospitals within a 15 minute drive of each office. The main office of the practice is located conveniently near Southern Regional hospital, a 375 bed hospital and typically they deliver 65 - 80 babies a month. Located just 15 minutes south of the main office is the second office. This office is located near a 125 bed hospital where the practice typically delivers 20 - 30 babies a month.
With the addition of another physician the plan is to split the call coverage into two groups with a call of 1 in 4. This will greatly enhance the call situation and reduce the travel between the two hospitals while maintaining a reasonable every fourth night/weekend structure.
Four of the seven physicians are partners. Partnership is offered after 2 years but you will be rewarded for your production as an associate as well.
