Under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine
Supervisor, Radiation Safety Officer.
Schedule:
Full-time 40 hours/week

2:30p - 11:00p Monday - Friday
Under the direction
of the MRI Supervisor and the Director of Radiology,
the MRI Technologist establishes, oversees, and coordinates
MRI scanning protocols and procedures for clinical
diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities include
performing MRI procedures, including manipulating patients,
selecting techniques, calibrating equipment and obtaining
and developing images, collecting, analyzing and interpreting
data, ensuring data integrity, quality control and
compliance with protocol, and performing daily calibration
checks on equipment. Must be a graduate of an A.M.A.
approved School of Radiologic Technology. One year
of experience required. Must be registered with the
A.R.R.T. including MRI Certification in Basic Cardiac
Life Support.
