We are now proud to partner with KOHL'S CORPORATE WELLNESS CENTER in MENOMONEE FALLS, WISCONSIN. We currently have an opportunity for a Office Manager / Radiology Technologist to join our Team! Full Time (40 hours/week) opportunity available Clinic Hours: M F: 7am - 6pm T W TH: 7a - 7pm Shifts within clinic hours of operation Summary: Provides guidance and oversight for daily activities of the health center front office function. Also processes medical films, transports patients, and provides other routine assistance to patients needing radiology services in the health clinic by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. General Front Office Duties: Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including generating chart numbers, filing, and pulling charts. Answers telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller to appropriate personnel, or initiates a triage slip for response by medical personnel. Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler. Conducts reminder calls to all patients. Greets and directs patients, salespeople, and visitors. Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate. Makes appropriate changes in computer system and on patient's chart. Coordinates referrals for patients through insurance and other physician offices. Prepares all billings in computerized system for processing by finance. Manages petty cash box through reconciliation of daily cash reports. Ensures office equipment maintenance is current. Administrative Management Duties: Documents and transmits bi-monthly payroll. Creates and maintains front office schedule ensuring appropriate staffing levels and monitoring overtime. Responsible for orienting and training new front office staff. Oversees site-specific identification badging process. Reviews all medical records release requests and refers to appropriate department as necessary. Files incident reports to Risk Management as necessary. Supports adherence to Whole Health policies and procedures. Researches and introduces clinic cost saving measures. Implements measures to improve front office functioning and patient flow. Creates monthly reports for Business Manager and/or client as requested. Participates in relevant on-site meetings with vendors, client and staff. Responsible for front office and medical supply ordering as well as inventory control. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 1-5 employees in the clinic site. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Radiology Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists with processing medical films and maintaining darkroom. Reviews film for proper identification and quality check. Prepares films for reading by physicians. Prepares solutions for film processor. Assists technologists with preparing solutions used in radiologic and other diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists patients through radiologic diagnostic procedures. Conducts radiologic diagnostic procedures. Files films and records. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Counts stock and maintains inventory records. Processes records of radiologic procedures performed. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of three years office management experience. Administrative and management experience within the health care industry preferred. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology training program. Three years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an ambulatory care, occupational health or emergency department setting Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
