Job Details: Director of RN to BSN Completion Program

Description: Director of RN to BSN Completion Program (tenure track)
Responsibilities include coordination, implementation and administration of a new and innovative RN to BSN curriculum with a holistic/integrative nursing care focus. Duties include teaching, implementation of curriculum in manner congruent with theoretical framework of program, participation in college committees, supervision of faculty, scheduling of classes, student advisement, program evaluation, and leadership for national accreditation activities.

Minimum Requirements: Masters degree in Nursing and a Doctorate in any field. Current license to practice as RN in New Mexico or compact state required. Three years full-time teaching experience in a nursing program and knowledge of Baccalaureate nursing programs preferred. Applicant must embrace the philosophy of holistic/integrative nursing practice. Advanced certification in holistic nursing desired. Eleven month position available August 2008. Salary Range: $70K to $75K Open until Filled
