Description:
Reporting to the CEO, this Provincial Leader
will build upon the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency's proud
history and reputation for outstanding cancer care
to establishe a communications/branding strategy.
The
successful candidate will establish and promote the
SCA brand to the public in a way that enhances awareness
and understanding of the role of the SCA in the health-care
system. This will be accomplished through the development
of policies, procedures and standards to ensure timely,
accurate and effective information on SCA programs
and initiatives is provided to staff, public, media
and other audiences.
The successful candidate
will possess a Bachelor degree, preferably in Communications,
supplemented with 5-7 years of experience in media/public
relations. The ideal candidate will possess professional
writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability
to design, implement, manage and evaluate strategic
communication plans.
