We operate on-site healthcare clinics, wellness programs and fitness centers that serve employees and dependents for many of the country's largest corporations.

We are proud to partner with TIAA CREF in New York, NY.

We now have an opportunity for a PHYSICIAN to join our team in either a full time or a part time role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides primary care as well as episodic and preventive health care to patients. Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medical treatment based on current and best practice.

Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients and provides patient education.

Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care which includes scheduling follow up visits and/or follow up phone calls and monitoring for adverse reactions or side effects.

Identifies emergency situations, and provides care within legal scope of practice and as defined by WHM privileging process.

Serves as a role model to clinic staff and collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner.

Oversees maintenance of medical records.

Formulates and administers health programs.

Collaborates with client Environment, Health & Safety and Industrial Hygiene Staff to develop health and safety programs to meet the unique needs of client.

Inspects client site and makes recommendations regarding sanitation and elimination of health hazards.

Evaluates health care services, medical policies and procedures, and recommends modifications based on current best practice.

Education and/or Experience: Graduate of an accredited medical school; at least five years of post-residency clinical experience in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency room setting; at least three years experience managing an ambulatory care, occupational health care or urgent care clinic.

Licensed to practice medicine in the State; must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine or Occupational Medicine, or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas. If Board Eligible, must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire. Must have current state and federal DEA certification. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required. Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification is a plus!
