We've got the kind of opportunities that'll truly take you where you want to be. This full-time, management-level position in West County will work closely with St. John's Mercy's business and finance department management, as well as with health plans, to ensure correct and accurate payments are made in a timely fashion. Your duties would involve: • Managing daily processes
to ensure timely handling of accounts
• Establishing and monitoring
team and individual goals on a staff of approximately
14 co-workers
• Implementing new procedures
and programs to improve workflow or operations
• Providing appropriate
oversight, knowledge and compliance within federal
guidelines
• Ensuring validity of
transactions occurring within areas of control
• Effectively staffing
department to manage accounts and serve the departments
and patients
• Identifying and resolving
problem areas and updating departmental policies
and procedures in response Position Requirements: Keys to your success include: • 5+ years of experience
in infusion, home care, hospice or corporate health
care billing and collections
• Knowledge of collection
processes, laws and policies
• Knowledge of ICD-9,
HCPC and CPT codes, physician specialties and managed
care contracting
• Computer proficiency
• Management experience
• The ability to prepare
