PRACTICE MANAGER Lone Tree, CO Do you have great people skills, including the attitude and ability to successfully manage a wide variety of co-workers? The Practice Manager provides responsible leadership overseeing practice operations and P/L. These duties include recommending practice objectives to ensure efficient and effective practice operations and financial profitability to meet the long term goals of the practice. Specifically, the Practice Manager assists in establishing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned administrative areas, participates in the development and implementation of long range plans and budgets and ensures that the practice operations are functional and provide patient care in the most appropriate, efficient and effective manner. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the recruiting, hiring and interviewing of staff, conduct appropriate performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Duties also include coding, charge capture, and the charge entry process to ensure that billing is current and accurate, developing and implementing policies and procedures specific to the operation of the local practice. It is the responsibility of the Practice Manager to ensure compliance within the practice of the policies and procedures and also ensure that all practice activities are in compliance with corporate, practice, local, state and federal laws and regulations. As a conscientious manager and company representative, the incumbent will evaluate local business conditions as they relate to practice operations and advise the Medical Director of findings and maintain a working relationship with external contacts such as managed care representatives and hospital administrators. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare management required, along with a least two (2) years supervisory experience. Medical billing or coding experience helpful.
