Description: The Camrose Primary Care Network (PCN), a joint venture between local family physicians and East Central Health, delivers coordinated, quality rural primary care.

The Camrose PCN, established in the fall of 2005, currently operates three priority initiatives - Obstetrics, Palliative Care, and Primary Care Physician Access, with an additional three in the business planning stage - Disease Management, Primary Prevention, and Care of the Elderly.

The Camrose Primary Care Network is looking for a highly motivated, strategic leader with vision and direction, to fill the following key role:

Business Manager

Reporting to the Board of Directors of the Camrose LPCI Ltd, the Business Manager provides ongoing leadership, while managing the day to day administration and operations of the PCN and its staff. The Business Manager is accountable for the implementation of the Management/Operational Policies, and PCN Business Plan. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for budgeting, communications, information management, and ongoing evaluation of the PCN.

You have a post secondary degree in business management (or related discipline) and experience managing projects and project teams, with demonstrated experience transitioning projects into operations. Your knowledge of Primary Care Networks is an asset and your healthcare experience is preferred.

Your exceptional interpersonal, facilitation and negotiating skills are essential to effective relations with stakeholders. You have demonstrated business acumen including budget management, business planning, policy development, QI programs, governing acts/regulations, and risk management. You are known for your ability to effectively lead change.
