Staff Nurse, Surgical Suite
BC Cancer Centre - Vancouver Centre
Monday to Friday, 0700 to 1500hrs

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing professional to join the team at the Vancouver Cancer Centre of BCCA. This is a day rotation with no on-call and no weekend shifts that sees you provide exceptional perioperative care to surgical patients. You will identify patient needs and consult with members of other health care disciplines to ensure pertinent information is documented and well understood by all team members. You will also work in a scrub/circulating capacity for surgical and special procedures.

You bring a Bachelor of Nursing degree and, preferably, OR certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) is required and you must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in clinical knowledge as it relates to intra-operative care. A current CPR Certification is a must.
